This hefty over-sized board book is a mini encyclopedia “for curious kids ages 0-3 – please note the “for ages 0-3”。 The book is over-sized （8 ½ x 11） and weighs so much that it is difficult to pick up。 One wonders what the purpose is， especially if the targeted market is ages 0-3。 Baby certainly can’t pick it up to look at it。 Read-to-babyers can’t hold baby AND the lap crushing book at the same time。 On the floor？ No one can see it。 Prop it up？ If it falls over serious injury could incur。 The This hefty over-sized board book is a mini encyclopedia “for curious kids ages 0-3 – please note the “for ages 0-3”。 The book is over-sized （8 ½ x 11） and weighs so much that it is difficult to pick up。 One wonders what the purpose is， especially if the targeted market is ages 0-3。 Baby certainly can’t pick it up to look at it。 Read-to-babyers can’t hold baby AND the lap crushing book at the same time。 On the floor？ No one can see it。 Prop it up？ If it falls over serious injury could incur。 The bulk and size is not the only problem。 The pages are crowded with no white space。 Illustrations are penned in on all sides by more illustrations。 Text includes explanations of the subject at hand as well as onomatopoeia for each frame。 We just can’t figure out how we would use it with a baby。 。。。more
